Now in it's 8th year and going from strength to strength by all accounts, the welsh capital celebrated its annual design festival with more reason than ever before. And we thought it might have been because we were in town.

Claire's Pointe Blank project being part of the festival gave us reason not only take the trip across the border, but to really get under the skin of the Welsh design scene. And more importantly some of the amazingly talented artists and designers involved in this the third carnation of the BRB collaboration.

Although we met too many contributors to mention all of them, special shout outs go to illustrator and designer Matt Joyce, who was proudly told of his part in the 'Doodle Noodle' project collective and public collaboration project.

Not forgetting the infectiously lovely and inspirationally talented illustrator Emma Levey. Who not only submitted a fantastic piece to the exhibition, but who also very kindly sacrificed her time to show us round Morgan Arcade studios, a fantastic shared work space bang in the centre of Cardiff. This otherwise deserted top floor high street buidling was a perfect hub of a creativity for all walks of creative talent, busy preparing for an open studio day the following week.

So massive thanks to Cardiff for having us. And may we all be jealous of your blossoming and supported creative scene.
